All work is billed hourly. We can offer a rough idea of the work ahead, but projects often shift as we get deeper in — and that's part of the process.

We charge by the hour for all labour performed in addition to the cost of
materials
used and GST is then applied on top of that.
We operate on non-refundable installment payments of $15,000 AUD + GST for bare
metal restorations. These installments are invoiced to you in advance to pay for materials and labour.
Payment is required before any work can be performed. Smaller jobs are sometimes taken in between other
work.
Each week, you receive a receipt of work carried out, including the cost of
materials used.
Missed installments incur a non-refundable $250 per week storage charge for your
vehicle. If your installment remains unpaid after one month, you'll need to collect your car.

Our core focus is body work however we can also help you to organise a full

start to finish inclusive of drive lines, wiring, interior, painting and the final detailing.
Waiting List
After filling out our
3 minute form,
we'll be in touch directly to discuss your
project with you.
Depending on our wait list for other vehicles, we'll provide an indicative start
date for your vehicle.
We will maintain contact when an opening becomes available for your vehicle and
if you
agree to commence work, you will be invoiced per
our pricing
prior to dropping your vehicle off.
Availability
Modified Garage is a highly sought-after body shop and we are typically booked
out
12-18 months in advance.
In order to guarantee the quality of our service, we only service two vehicles
at
a time and hold a third 'next-up' vehicle on site.
When one of our two main vehicles is finished, work commences on the 'next-up'
vehicle until it's finished.
If either of our two main vehicles falls behind on an
invoiced
installment payment,
they will be downgraded to our 'next-up' vehicle and need to wait for one of the other two vehicles
to be finished before their work resumes. ie. they are pushed back in our queue.
All vehicles in the shop require a positive balance on their installment
payments
